I woke up at 3:20am this morning to see Japan vs Denmark world cup game on TV.

It's really good that we beat Denmark by 3-1 and became best 16.

Go, Japan!!!

Though we could not see Mt. Fuji today,  it was beautiful sunset today as well.

although it was　really heavy rain this afternoon until 14:30 today.

I did not expect at all that I could  take photo. What happened with our weather...?

One of the most famous route in Japan(?), as it goes along the beach and is very scenic.

Most of the time, there are traffic jam, especially in summer time.

It was officially declared today that rainy season in Kanto area where I live has just started.

I hope that rainy days and mondays do not get me down. 

Matsuri

Matsuri is the Japanese word for festival.

This is the one held at Zaimokuza beach today. 

The small object in the center of this picture is Mikoshi, portable shinto shrine.

Windy day

Although it was sunny, it was very windy today.

It's really good for enjoying wind surfing.

Loco

The rainy season is about to come in Kanto area where I live.

Normally it lasts 4-5 weeks before summer and is not the best season to travel to

Japan. The best season would be early Apr where we can see cherry blossoms and

early-middle Nov for colored leaves.  

Liquor store

This is one of the old stores at main street in my home town.

They are selling other items, in addition to liquor and cigarette.

I wonder how many years they are running business here...

Kimono

It's been a while since I uploaded the previous photo...

I went to Kamakura today and happened to see weddding ceremony

at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, one of most famous shrines in Japan.

Kimono is Japanese traditional garment and it is normally worn

at special occasion. They are wearing Kimono to celebrate their

friend's wedding and seriously watching June bride.
