It's national holiday in Japan today, "Respect for the Aged Day".

What a nice thing to have consecutive three days holdays!

We also have holiday on this Thurs day and we call this week as silver week.

Tokugawa's hollyhock

Yoshinobu Tokugawa, 15th or last shogun of Tokugawa family rests here.

Three hollyhock leaves inside a circle is Tokugawa emblem.

It's been quite a while since I came to Roppongi.

I wonder when Hard Rock Cafe Tokyo was open,,,?

Tx stands for Tsukuba Express. Train between Tokyo and Tsukuba.

It takes 45min. from Tsukuba to Tokyo and is really convenient.

I will be visiting Tokyo tomorrow for photo seminar.

10 years after

I was trying to take similar photo I took when I was here in 2000 (photo yesterday) and I think I did.

Actually, when I compare these two shots, it was a bit different...different angle...

I hope I will visit NY in 2020 and come back here to take photo again.

It's been 9 years since 9 11...

I still remember that typhoon came over to Kanto area and our office was closed.

When I was watching news at 10pm on TV, I saw the 2nd plane hit WTC. So terrible...

This phot was taken Sep 2000 when I went to NY with my families, about one year before the incident.

Golden Dust

Bar at Golden gai. Golden gai is a small area of Shinjyukum Tokyo.

It is famous both as an area of architectural interest, and as a nightlife area.

I thought kewpie was from Japan...but was from US and was born in 1903.

HMYC

HMYC stands for Hayama Marina Yacht Club.

When I was univ. student, I belong to yacht club and we were practicing around Hayama area.

Good old memories... Actually, I'd never been on cruiser but only on dinghy, 470 class.
