Samurai Blue

I woke up at 3:20am this morning to see Japan vs Denmark world cup game on TV.
It's really good that we beat Denmark by 3-1 and became best 16.
Go, Japan!!!

Though we could not see Mt. Fuji today,  it was beautiful sunset today as well.

Sunset & Mt. Fuji

I was so lucky that I could see such a beautiful sunset,
although it was really heavy rain this afternoon until 14:30 today.
I did not expect at all that I could  take photo. What happened with our weather...?

Harbors's Cafe

This is the photo shot at Yokomaha Osanbashi, International passenger terminal.
It was my first time to come here and found it is nice place for taking photo at night.

Sunday, June 20, 2010

Blue is my favorite color...!
I went to Yokohama by bicycle today and it was a good excercise.
It's been quite some time since I came to Yokohama last time.

One of the most famous route in Japan(?), as it goes along the beach and is very scenic.
Most of the time, there are traffic jam, especially in summer time.

Couple, couple and couple

It's been rather heavy rain since this afternoon...
Obviously, this photo is not taken today but the other day at Shichirigahama beach.
It looks that rainy season will last another 30days and it is longer than usual...
I miss blue sky!!!

I still remember that I learned the longest English word is "smiles"
in my English class, because there's a mile between each s.
I wonder if this is a popular joke in English speaking countries...?

It was sunny but bit hazy today.
This is the shot at the beach I am hanging around for photo shooting
when I am in my home town.

Rainy Days And Mondays

It was officially declared today that rainy season in Kanto area where I live has just started.
I hope that rainy days and mondays do not get me down.

Sunday, June 13, 2010

Matsuri is the Japanese word for festival.
This is the one held at Zaimokuza beach today.
The small object in the center of this picture is Mikoshi, portable shinto shrine.

Windy day

Although it was sunny, it was very windy today.
It's really good for enjoying wind surfing.

Gone with the wind

Photo was taken at ZushiBeach yesterday.
I felt refreshed by breezy onshore wind. It's so nice...

Wednesday, June 9, 2010

The rainy season is about to come in Kanto area where I live.
Normally it lasts 4-5 weeks before summer and is not the best season to travel to
Japan. The best season would be early Apr where we can see cherry blossoms and
early-middle Nov for colored leaves.

Liquor store

This is one of the old stores at main street in my home town.
They are selling other items, in addition to liquor and cigarette.
I wonder how many years they are running business here...

Cool cat

Photo at Shichirigahama parking lot yesterday.
Looked like one scene from movie..., cool lady!

Sunday, June 6, 2010

Sunset today

Although it is not the best shot, it's still acceptable...?
I was trying to take photo of Mt. Fuji, we did not have clear visibility today.

Saturday, June 5, 2010

It's been a while since I uploaded the previous photo...

I went to Kamakura today and happened to see weddding ceremony
at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, one of most famous shrines in Japan.

Kimono is Japanese traditional garment and it is normally worn
at special occasion. They are wearing Kimono to celebrate their
friend's wedding and seriously watching June bride.
